Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
I'm really glad for this sign! The last time I was in Winthrop Park I had to take away flower cutters from two Dobermans. Now, that's scary. Have you ever seen a Doberman with a rose cutter? :))It's a great sign and a great post, Lois!
Those are clear signs!

...rules, rules and more rules.
Well it is tempting when there are beautiful roses around Lois, so this is a good reminder to leave those clippers at home 😀
Hello, both are important signs. I hope everyone obeys the rules! Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!
amazing how many dumb people don't keep their dogs on leashes. We had one guy bring his little dog in the store, he told it to stay while he went to his car, and it had a panic attack
we Americans MUST be told! like warning, falling pinecones. these make sense though, we have leash laws here and people seem to think it doesn't mean their dogs...
I wonder how many people snap off those roses anyway.
That doesn't stop some people.
Sad that there needs to be signs.
No misunderstanding with the sign. It's sad that people need to be reminded.
Roses are so finicky, I can well understand the city's concerns.
Too many people think their dog is always so perfectly well behaved that they don't need to follow sensible rules.
I don't let my dog cut flowers, but sometimes he chews grass!
It is a good idea to keep clippers away from dogs. Although it is too bad we have to remind people not to steal flowers.MB
Isn't it a little sad that folks have to be reminded ...Great photo's though! All the best Jan
