Canaries

I was standing in line at the post office the other day when I kept hearing what I thought were birds in the room. When I got up to the counter, I asked about it and the lady showed me where the sounds were coming from. Someone was shipping a crate full of colorful canaries. I felt a little sorry for them, but they looked and sounded happy enough, so I hope they end up in good homes!

What an interesting find. I've never seen anything like it. There must be all kinds of special rules to follow in order to ship birds like this. Hopefully, it wasn't a long journey!

The crate seems so small for all of them. Hope they arrive well.

this is certainly a first time ever seeing birds shipped. I bet they were making a lot of noise... hope they are ok

A little sticked together all of them. But they have a lot to chat about.

I wonder how they get water?

Hello, The canaries are pretty. I feel sorry if they were wild birds and caught to be sold. A lot of people breed these birds to be sold too. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

Pretty birds! I'm glad they all have company. I worry about water too. I wonder of those bits of fruit take care of that. I hope they make it to their destination quickly.
