Wachau Valley

After departing from Dürnstein, our ship cruised on the Danube through the Wachau Valley in Lower Austria. Known for its rolling hills, vineyards and fortresses, the scenery is absolutely breathtaking.

The scenery took my breath away. What a trip you had! And your photos! I really think you could do a coffee table book comprised of these photos - perhaps a cruise line would finance it?

Wow, something beautiful to see in every direction. I can see that river cruises offer a whole lot more in scenery than ocean cruises do.

There's something very special about traveling one of the world's most famous rivers by boat Lois, with life along the rivers edge not changing much over the years. I felt it when traveling down the Nile, amazing experience.

you surely saw some amazing sights while there! Is that a castle in the one picture or something else?d I know---we love "Anne" too and I am just hoping they filmed a Season two!!? Haven't heard. Some people I read thought the show was awful and horrendous---but I though it was done well!
