A cloud drifting by the 22 story new Capitol downtown. It's not really that new (built in the 1970's), but Florida's historic old Capitol (which I showed
here last week) sits right in front of it, so most locals just refer to the two buildings as the "old" Capitol and "new" Capitol. I think the old one is much more interesting, but the
Observation Deck on the top floor of new one does have some nice views.

Nice pic, with blue sky and white cloud, high above the building. I have read that the design of the New Capitol in no way reflected the style of the old one. But it must be so great to look over the city, when you are standing on The Observation Deck. I love the history.
Excelente fotografia, gosto do pormenor.
Um abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

I am afraid we see more clouds here than just one passing by...
I love a Florida sky! Happy weekend.
Looks like a nice warm day.
That is a blissful blue sky shot!
Nice artsy shot. I'm guessing you're having long hot days as we are. Everything's dry down here -like a tinder box.
Pretty sky!
Have a great week-end!
and the beautiful clouds drift on over new and old, catching our eye as photographers.
Excellent shot!
The same is the case in Toronto, where you have Old City Hall and New City Hall. The old one's much more visually impressive than the new one, which dates back to the 60s or 70s.
What a great shot. We have a similar situation here. We have the old state capitol which is still used and the new building behind it that houses most of the offices. Many people here call the new building the ugly capitol.
Looks like a pretty day, great skywatch capture!
Have a happy day and weekend!
Well spotted. Makes for a great photo.
Pretty shot. I like the intense blue sky with the bright white puffy cloud.
A runaway cloud, we always have plenty if you need another one or two. You can even get a discount for a sky covered in them. :)
Nice shot!
All the best Jan
