Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
They look in deep sleep.
Or just resting their eyes, as someone I know often says.
I was going to say you've got lots of sleepy ducks up in them thar parts! They may be sleeping, but they remain quite aware of their surroundings and possible dangers.
so beautiful, I am glad I don' have to sleep in water. HA HA
I love the way they twist their necks and nuzzle into their own feathers.
I also like seeing how they tuck their bills into their back feathers like that.
lovely...and cool in that they are all posed the same!
Hello, looks like nap time! They must not get sore necks. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
I could use a nap!
I just had to stop by...my mother-in-law's name was Lois and for a while lived in Tallahassee. Your napping birds are so pretty~
Yep, they do that! Usually one is awake and watching.
Such a peaceful, beautiful scene Lois!! I like these ducks very much. Great subject, pretty birds. Thanks for linking up this week at I'd Rather B Birdin'.

It's good to have afternoon nap...
it's amazing how that neck position is comfortable to them
They are all getting a little nap time; I 'm interest in the variety and uniqueness of the group.
So cute to see....all lines up in their individual "beds." :-)
