Great Florida Birding Trail

I often see these signs when I am walking at different parks around town. After looking at their website here, I found out that I am in the Panhandle Section of the Great Florida Birding Trail. The website is a great source of interesting information, especially if you are a bird lover like me.

Linking to signs, signs.

We have similar signs here Lois. It looks like birding is big in Florida, loved the link you gave, incredible bird shots.

Hello, I have used the website looking for new birding places. It would be nice if all the states had this Birding Trail map. Have a happy day!

There's one of these in Cedar Key. I have seen a group of people with binocs looking out over the area for birds. I've often thought if you're going to carry binocs why not carry a camera 'cuz then you could take a photo and look at the same bird as often as you wish. :)

I can bet there are some wonderful birds to see along that trail! This morning, the flicker is after my suet! :-) I'll share photos of him soon. I can't walk very far and have to depend a lot on my yard feeders and serendipitous moments when driving about for my birding.

nice place to hike with a camera I bet. birds are hard to catch though, they don't seem to sit still long enough!
