A fence and water tower

If this fence seems a little intimidating, it's probably because it surrounds the Federal Correctional Institution, a low-security United States federal prison for female inmates located on the east side of Tallahassee. It is operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, a division of the United States Department of Justice.

Linking to Good Fences Around the World.

Those water towers really stand in the south. That fence is definitely not a happy one!

I wondered what was behind that substantial fence when I saw your photo. Glad you answered the question.

it sure doesnt' look like low security with 4 rows of razor wire. no climbing that fence. love the tower next to the fence, great shot

That kind of fence would certainly deter me from trying to get in or out!

I just wrote a comment on the lonely farm on another link and said I would love to go inside. I guess I would have to say I would NOT want to go inside these fences! heehee! Enjoy your day and this beautiful weather! Hugs!

I like the water tower, it has the shape of an onion.

Yup, that fence has all the look of a prison.

There's one of these prisons for women, I think a medium security facility, in one of the towns near where I grew up. The fencing there is quite similar.

A remarkable building! Different from the water towers that we know here.

No one will be jumping that one!

I'd hate to see the high security one

Yeah, I like that term--"low security". Pretty serious looking fence from where I'm sitting. :-)

I thought that might be a Prison fence with all that looped barbed wire.
