SkyWatch Friday

Like the wall I showed yesterday, this is another interesting structure that was left intact when the new park was created. This old hay barn sits next to one of the park trails and I have shown it before in a previous post here. I liked the way you could see the sky peeking through those old rafters.

Linking to SkyWatch Friday.

Interesting that they left these structures in the park. It will be interesting to see how they stand the test of time. Love your skies! Happy weekend.

It makes me want to lie down in that tall grass and look up through the rafters. Spiders, snakes and chiggers!
Have a great day!

Good that it has been kept up.

I'm really surprised they've left it there Lois, usually these structures are the first to go when no longer used. I think it would make a nice shady spot in summer maybe?

I love that all these features have been left as part of the park.

It's good that they left it to the care of Mother Nature. Probably been there decades already. Glad you photographed it!

One day this will collapse. And then there are the remaining
woodpile.. But until then, it is good that the roof protects the grass in the sun.
I like the perspective and blue sky.

That's a gorgeous old building, I like the way the blue is showing through as well. As Orvokki says 'one day it will collapse' when it does I hope they leave the wood there to break down an return to the earth...

I guess the structure must be sound for it to be left there.
