Scenes from my walk

Today I'm showing a few pictures I took while walking around Dorothy Oven Park. I like this little park because when the weather starts to get hotter like it has lately, these trails offer a bit more shade from the sun. That tree in the last picture looked to me like it was just begging to be climbed.

A nice park, I will also be happy I would walk over there.
There is a lot of sun protection as well as in case of rain can go under the trees. Gorgeous tree in the last image.

It's wonderful to have places like this available to the public. And this park looks especially nice. So, did you climb the tree? I would have, oh, say, 50 years ago or more! :) Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!

Perfect timing for 'love a tree day' Lois! You're right about the last tree here, designed for climbing :)

There are definitely some trees that make you wish you were a little kid again. That one's a climbing one for sure. The shade sure looks inviting this time of year.
