Spanish moss

Walking around Cascades Park on a clear fall day, I noticed this strand of Spanish moss looked like it was trying to touch the top of the 22 story Florida Capitol Building in the distance. Maybe it was trying to talk some sense into our lawmakers over there.

Love it! You have a great photographic eye. But, there's no sense wasting your time trying to talk sense into the morons that inhabit that particular space! :)

Ha! It's getting pretty close. Life is often an allusion.

When I was in the fourth grade, we lived in Jacksonville in an area called Ortega (sp??). The trees were all covered in Spanish moss, and it was a magical sight. I have never forgotten it. Your picture brought back lots of memories.
