Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
It does look a little lonely out there Lois :) almost as if the lake had been flooded.
I have never seen a tree like this!
Strange place for a tree.
Splendid example of individuality, Lois. :-)
How long will it stand?
Good morning, pretty view of the lake and the tree. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
Must be a cypress tree.Have a great week-end!Lea
What a commanding blue it is!
Magnifique endroit !
Ah, lonely little fellow, but what a lovely capture for the day, Lois!! I agree with Revrunner -- a splendid example of individuality, :)!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
That is a survivor!
How on earth does it survive?
I'm thinking the water is a little higher than usual.
Really unusual! You would think the roots and lower part of the tree would rot out from the constant water exposure. I like the photo!!
It certainly does look lonely there.
nice composition. beautiful lone tree, standing there so proudful ;-)Visiting from Skywatch Friday, greetings from Hildehttp://stapjesonderweg.blogspot.be/2015/09/view-from-cerro-baul.html
