Lonely Tree

Lonely tree in the middle of Lake Lafayette. I took this picture from the walkway on the other side of the pedestrian bridge I showed in several posts from earlier this week.

Linking to SkyWatch Friday and Weekend Reflections.

It does look a little lonely out there Lois :) almost as if the lake had been flooded.

How on earth does it survive?

I'm thinking the water is a little higher than usual.

Really unusual! You would think the roots and lower part of the tree would rot out from the constant water exposure. I like the photo!!
