Good Fences

This fence is relatively new, as is everything in Cascades Park. It was a windy day, as you can see from the palm tree to the left in the first picture. I took the second picture looking down while standing next to the fence in the middle of the bridge. That water below is storm water runoff, so it's not advisable to go wading there! Linking to Good Fences.

Palm trees, blue skies, free-flowing water--are you sure you're in the U.S.? :-)

What a nice and long fence. These pictures are wonderful! I like having such a broad view of the park.

Looks like a lovely place for a stroll, even if you can't wade in the water!

It's impossible for me to look at palm trees and NOT think "how exotic!" ;)

Water is an interesting 'take' on fences, but it works. For sure.

I love this park; it's a real treasure for Tallahassee! And that is a beautiful fence - quite different, too.

Thanks for your wonderful comments yesterday, Lois. We appreciate so much your taking the time to do that.

Hope you have a wonderful, if cool, day! It's only 36 degrees here at 9 AM. Aargh!

Hi Lois, it has been a while since my last visit. Had fun looking at your pretty photos. I followed Theresa's Good Fences link today.

They did a nice job designing that fence. I'll take your advice on the murky water.

The fence is pretty, but that blue sky gets my vote! Been so long since I have seen a sky that blue. Just love days when it is that vivid blue.

Now this is quite refreshing! A masterpiece of fencing in your first shot. Very sophisticated!

This place is perfectly landscaped. I'd love to walk around there, maybe with a picnic.

The fence is nice, the brickwork is even better, and the whole place is absolutely lovely!

It looks quite pleasant for a walk.

Wow there is a lot going on in that first shot. The swaying palm trees, the blue sky, the fencing, the brick work. They make for a great photo. I really liked it a lot. Not so sure I'd want to wade in the water below though.

Beautiful -- you actually 'captured' the windy day beautifully too.

Great tropical atmosphere. The first shot is a bit difficult to understand. You have to look a bit longer and that I like very much.

Very pretty. You are reminding me that I need to go to the Botanic Garden pretty soon.
