Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
I wonder who pays for the electricity?
I haven't see any here but after a web search I find out there are hundreds of them. So now I am on a mission to track them down.
I've actually seen all-electric vehicles on our roads. But I have yet to see one being recharged. In fact, I'm not sure where their owners do recharge them, unless it is at home.
You see those parkings more often now.
i wonder if they will ever take over?
If the price of petrol keeps going up we may all be using electric cars.. Or maybe using the trains and buses a bit more :)
There are a lot of these sprouting up around the Phoenix area.
i've never seen one of those in person. :)
I'm sure we have them here in Portland, but I've never seen them, but then I don't have a vehicle of any kind and so far I have found one that will just charge me and my legs!!!
They have those here at the used book store. Cute post.
We must have them here as well, but I've never really noticed them.
First for me. To see.
We see more and more of these here!Very interesting that you have a marker like the one in V.!
I haven't seen one before either. I imagine they will become more common.
There was a big push for electric car charging stations a few years ago. We have quite a few around Sarasota. I rarely see them being used.
Now that is one sign that we will see more of in the very near future.frankly my dear
I've been fooled by these spots that are close and empty on many an occasion....
I have the feeling that places like Whole Foods are as interested in making a statement with their charging stations as they are in having them used.
starting to get some these here too
I think that we will be seeing more of this in the future! Tom The Backroads Traveller
