Memorial Day Weekend Reflections


Reflections in one of the marble walls of the Florida Viet Nam Veterans Memorial across the street from the Capitol. If you look closely, you can see the names of veterans from Florida who were killed during this conflict engraved in the marble. I previously posted a picture of this memorial here. Excellent post for this weekend. 58,000 of our men and women died in that mess. And like most wars, no one knows why.
