SkyWatch over Goodwood

Here you can see the old water tower at the Goodwood estate with the aviary in front of it. They are located directly behind the main house that I showed here. I wonder what kind of birds they kept in that aviary! To see more beautiful skies from all over the world, don't miss SkyWatch Friday.

I don't think I've ever seen an aviary. You know what I like best about this? The big tree and lovely dappled shade it provides. I really like the composition if this picture.

Gorgeous picture and so like north Florida! That estate is huge. And I'd guess back in the day it was pretty nice to have your own water tower and aviary. Is that another house in the background that is part of this estate?

Thank you for your nice comments, Lois. Hope that all is going well for you!

A pretty Old Florida scene. Love the moss hanging from the trees.

Such a pretty blue sky! Love all the Spanish Moss in the tree too. It looks like a big web.

They probably had Doves in there. Anywhere I see an aviary it is full of'Doves'.
I like your series on the Goodwood Estate. thanks. So lovely. MB
