Dining Room at Goodwood

This week I have been posting pictures of the main residence at the Goodwood estate and here are a few shots taken in the formal dining room. I would hate to have to be the one keeping all of that silver polished!

So nice to have a dinner there and to be served...

It seems that those who claimed this as their residence knew how to live with graceful elegance. What beautiful furnishings. What time is dinner, by the way?

Thanks for your comment on Ocala. You are very diplomatic and kind.

Lots of wonderful old antique pieces here Lois.. you need nice big rooms for that kind of furniture.

A wonderful place full of amazing furniture and beautiful decorative objects. I guess that keeping everything shining is a real nightmare...
