Weekend Reflections

The sky reflected in windows of some of the older buildings in downtown Tallahassee. I remember when these buildings were retail stores in the days before malls and you could actually shop downtown. The Florida Association of Counties is one of the many lobbyist groups located in these buildings now because they are close to the state Capitol building. Visit Weekend Reflections to see more wonderful reflections from around the world.

Nice reflections. I wish that our downtowns were still viable. Ocala has been doing some renovations and trying to revitalize the area. Hope it works.

It's so nice that the old buildings are still there. I, too, remember shopping "downtown." ;)

Some old; some new.

I like it when communities learn how to restore their old buildings.

That is lovely reflection Lois ; I like the architecture style of this building, so warm with all these bricks.

These are pretty simple buildings, but they still have lots of charm. I feel lucky that West Hartford's center is vital and active. There are large malls in the area, but many people like shopping and doing business and dining in the center.
