Crepevine

I had lunch at The Crepevine last weekend and it was pretty good.

My first thought had this store as one of those fabric places, like JoAnne's. Silly me. Crepe means food. Or fabric. I like the sign.

Crepe vine, "Grape City" — lots of clever names out there. I like this sign. Friends of mine have Grape City over in Japan. I met the owner and he and his Japanese wife had 10 children of their own and then went out and adopted 12 more. They sent them all through college and now, in his old age or dream years, he has had a stroke and is looked over by the rest of the family but especially by his wife.
