Watery Wednesday

I took this picture from the Navy Pier in Chicago looking south along the shoreline of Lake Michigan. It had snowed that morning and it was very cold and windy, but my daughter and I walked to the end of the pier anyway. To see more wonderful watery pictures, be sure to visit Watery Wednesday.

You're very brave! I'd guess things have changed on Navy Pier over the years, but when I first joined the Naval Reserve, prior to going on active duty, I attended meetings once a week on Navy Pier. I remember how cold and windy it could get out there!

Your photo has captured that feeling very well!

I wouldn't have thought a girl from Florida could deal with the cold of Lake Michigan in winter. You are a strong one, Lois!
