Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
go big guy!
At first I thought it was a small crocodile. What a scary thought!be well and happy, LoisHugs,Pam
Looks like he could hurt you.
A challenge with photographing turtles in the wild, of course, because they are mostly under the water, usually exposing only their heads for the camera.
What a great shot Lois, when you pull it in close you can see the definite turtle shape!
Oh yes, thanks for the large size, it's great!Léia
I'm starving! I gotta get that piece of bread. My Watery Wednesday post, have a nice day!
Never let a meal pass you by! Love this shot!
It doesn't look like a turtle at all, Lois! I thought it was a miniature elephant in the water or something like that ;D
When I first opened your page I thought that critter was something more scary. :) Nice image!
Cute. I love turtles!
Oh now I see, it is the head sticking up from the water (right:)So lovely to see.
I'm relieved it was only a turtle! Cute!
That's a good-sized turtle!
Must be a snapper. Don't put your toe in the water!
Judging from the 'nose' I believe it's a soft shell turtle.
