This great egret was fishing for his lunch at the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge when we visited last weekend. We watched him swallow several small fish, but he was too quick for my camera! My grandson counted 28 of these beautiful birds during our visit. To see more wonderful reflections from around the world, visit Weekend Reflections.

I wonder if he is stalking fish or just enjoying his handsome reflection.. hmm.
Nice shot, Lois.

Pam
Great shot with a perfect reflection. And, they are quick!
Darryl and Ruth : )
I like egrets, too...they bring a splash of color to the environs and are a lot of fun to watch. This is a great shot with a wonderful reflection!
Hope your weekend is filled with fun things!
I love how those egrets are so motionless while they are on guard for their dinner.
They are graceful birds, aren't they? Enjoy your weekend.
Believe me, Spain is reflecting so much these weeks.

Lucky bird to have a "grocery" so close and handy. Thanks for your remarks on the bird feeder on my blog. It's terrific, isn't it? I think I'm going to try to attract humming birds this year.l We provide food all winter long, but stop feeding and time it 'til most babies have left the nests so everyone is then on their own until cold weather sets in again.
Excellent, Lois. Love the reflection. Perfect. MB
Looks like he's still looking for dessert! Great reflection photo :D
Happy weekend, Lois!
Wonderful! This is a great place to visit.
Head and neck are so narrow it seems almost unreal
They can stand still for such a long time seeing something you don't see. Nice photo.
I love their long graceful necks
lovely shot
so lovely to watch
Lovely, Lois!
