Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
Hey please, don't be so close!I imagine the alligators are not friendly!Léia
You sure do have a lot of gators where you live! Looks dangerous, watch out Lois :D
Oh my this sign should be taken seriously hehe! Thanks for sharing!Watery Wednesday
You are brave Lois! Did you see any gators?
Do you really see alligators there? Must be special.
I'll just stay home I think.Love the picture of your Grandmother. I bet she was a fun young gal. MB
I have seen alligators there before, but no I didn't see any the day I took this picture. This is Florida and anywhere there is water, there are probably alligators! They usually don't bother people, unless you bother them.
I like this sign, not only for the cool alli but also for its meaning: you're in the wild! :-)
I certainly would heed this sign.
That would get my attention. Especially in the tall grass and brush.
I love living in Florida.
I played golf this morning and was told that the course's ponds had no alligators. I said, "Yeah, right!" and chuckled. Every body of water in Florida is gator habitat. If you don't see them now, you'll see them later!
That's one warning sign that I would pay very close attention to!WATERY SATISFACTIONPuddles of water and drops of dew—What does it take to satisfy you?A rushing river, a roiling sea—That’s what it takes to satisfy me!© 2011 by Magical Mystical TeacherRambling Desert Stream
This looks like a haven for gators. Yikes.
So, what are they warning the alligators about, Lois? Golfers? Fore!!!
OMG! But, didn't you get to capture one? =) My WW entry is up too! Thanks and see you around.
