Camera Critters

This little blue heron seems to be sitting there on that tree stump waiting to greet the boat as it comes in after a day of fishing on Lake Jackson near Tallahassee. To see more fascinating critters from around the world, don't miss Camera Critters.

The heron, the lilies, the coming boat, all make for a great shot. Wonderful image, Lois.

Nice shot, Lois. I will bet that just a second after your shutter clicked, the bird flew safely away. Heron mothers didn't raise no fools.

Fantastic shot...you were certainly in the right place at the right time. That boat is coming directly at the poor Heron. Fly, little Heron, fly!
