Students heading to class on a hazy day near the north gate of the Florida State University Campus. There was a controlled burn in the nearby Apalachicola National Forest the day I took this picture, so it was a little smoky.

Fantastic shot. I like the red brick wall.
I'm sneezing just looking at the haze. It has been hazy here also.
It does look a bit foggy but that gate is fantastic! Must be nice to go through that everyday :-D
Although I attended a land grand school, we never had to worry about controlled burns up north. This image reminds me of how much I enjoyed walking on campus.
I'm doin' a controlled burn this evening... winter blow-downs.
Very nicely composed having the students walk through the "gate" ... looks hazy. We've had way too many smoky days - it seems like they're burning out here west of Ocala every other day!
Lois has a hard time running when it's so smoky!
I like that arch!
We had pouring down rain all day. More is on the way. Hope you had a day as nice as your picture.
Someday your grandson will be that tall and hopefully walk in their footsteps.
cough, cough!
be well, be happy, Lois

I haven't seen FSU yet. The brick architecture has promise.
I love your photo!
