One Photo Each Day from the Capital City of Florida
Yes it is a good alternitive, but you better can use a real bike, no gas at all.
This is a good way to go for a short distance in good weather. I made good use of a small motorcycle in college in Washington, D.C. Motorcycles on the freeway make me nervous. One mistake -- by oneself or others -- can be fatal.
or a moped!
I imagine it's a good idea for students! :)Beautiful shot and lovely tree as well!Léia
Only if you live in a warm climate!! :)
Very colorful and economical!
Be my guest!
Love the Spanish moss on the live oaks... Be careful and wear a helmet. I can not believe that Florida repealed its helmet law, why!Bises,Genie
Vigorously nodding my head in agreement!
I certainly agree with you in principle. And I'd love to have some kind of motor scooter, but they're so dangerous to ride on our highways...If you move to The Villages, you could almost get along without a car...all you'd need is a golf cart!Nice shot of those colorful (student?) bikes!
I like bicycles for short trips, when the weather and roadways cooperate.I am leaving the wardrobe choices to my sculptor.
When gas hits $4, I'll start seriously considering one of these. I wonder if red mopeds get pulled over as much as red cars???
Plus the breeze must be nice!
