I think the egret is pretending to ignore the stork! This picture looks even better if you click on it and enlarge it. There are also two other birds flying around back there near the moon. The branch these beautiful birds are sitting on hangs over a pond behind the Tallahassee Mall.

Beautiful picture and I think they are all happy for this lovely sunny day!

What a beautiful photo, the two sitting on the same branche but ignoring each other.
I love this shot Louis! I think the egret doesn't want to give up his spot to the stork. Nice capture! Kat
Wonderful catch. And, to think you found such a nice slice of nature behind a mall!
superb capture!!
What a great shot. They look like they just are not speaking to each other! Haha!

Lois, this is a fab photo!!
Very beautiful shot, Lois. I am not good at photographing birds, unfortunately enough (as I have recently found that a whole group of parakeets lived in trees along the Lez, which is so strange).
Wonderful shots Lois; who would have thought you'd find nature behind the mall. Which mall, Govenor's Square? Love it that the moon is up and out in the bright daylight right now.
Great shot! I love how animals can sometimes seem to be expressing such human emotions. :)
What amazing things you see on your way to the shopping.
Nice, I love storks, such a powerfull and gracious bird...
It could be an intriguing title for a novel...
beautiful catch, what a beautiful pic.!
wood stork is the bird supposed to bring a baby home ? in France is "la cicogne"
sorry may be I am wrong ?
very good pic, any way
This is a good one, Lois. I see a lot of wood storks in southwest Floorida, but they are almost always on the ground, not on tree limbs. The Tallahassee wood storks are more agile.
Very nice shot!
Very beautiful shot, complete with daylight half moon.
Three in one! Great capture, Lois.
Now this is a wonderful picture!!!
Wonderful photo! It's got everything going for it including Spanish moss!
What a great catch! Photos like this are a good example of why you should always have a camera with you!
