Honest to Pete, something like that around here, would get killed by a sportsman.
In the thumbnail, I thought this was Donner or Blitzen. Is that some type of hunting jacket fashioned around him?
Poor deer, isn't it too hot for him?
Nice orange, to make sure he dont get shot.
A little bizarre.
SRQ--he is standing in front of an outdoor shop. biebkriebels--actually we have had some pretty cold weather (for us) here for the last week. Temperatures have been in the low 20's at night and 40-50's during the day. Next week we are supposed to have night time temps in the teens.
Great shot Lois, and it's fashion with the orange t-shirt! :)Léia
I'm sure they'll steal it within minutes, here|!
I could introduce him to a sheep in Skipton!
Very curious! Can't help but wonder who put him there and why? I mean it is the season but still...A colorful critter for sure.Re your comment on Colorado: Interesting, because my mother's mother lived on a farm in northern Minnesota and we would visit often when I was little...she had an outhouse - and we had to use it. That's where I became acquainted with the Sears & Roebuck catalog! It sure was cold sometimes.I'm not certain if she ever got indoor plumbing.
Very strange. Looks like someone's abandonned target practice deer for hunting season.
Lois, I see he is wearing orange in case there were any hunters in the neighborhood. The only shooting allowed should be with a camera.Hugs,Pam
I'm thinking that I would have to agree with Abe - around here the poor thing would be shot within minutes! Poaching is quite common around our area ... the cops put out fake deer as decoys sometimes and the poor deers are riddled with bullet holes by the end of the season! Maybe they should try orange vests??? :=}
That is pretty funny. The deer is wearing blaze orange to keep from getting shot.
Hah! I don't really get the orange diaper. . .
He's wearing orange, so don't shoot him! :)
Oh how funny! I love that! * giggle *
