Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
Looks like a nice spot. Where's Lake Ella?
I get the impression that staying cool this summer is a full-time job.
I'm surprised you weren't tempted to jump in. :)
Lake Ella is near the midtown area of Tallahassee, just north of downtown. It is a popular place to walk or just hang out. It is surrounded by cottages that used to be a motor court, but have now been converted into shops for many local businesses. I have featured Lake Ella and the cottages on my blog before.
Looks like a lovely shady area to relax for a little while.☼ Sunny
Beautiful shot. Looks like a good place to stay cool.
Looks like you found a nice spot! Very pretty and soothing view of the lake :D
I like the way the water is framed by the trees!
how about a hammock between those trees?:p beautiful photo.
Very pretty and it does look cooler! Cool is relative these days. But I'm always a bit surprised at how much difference a little shade makes!
Florida outside in July and August--- impossible my in-laws say... even with an ice cold drink in humid. Good Luck today. Hazy, hot and humid here 90s.
What a pretty place. I love how you framed the lake with the big, green, shady trees.
Definitely looks better in the shade than in the sun! Although it probably would be even cooler if you could get into that cool looking water!!!
It's a pretty view from the shade! Hopefully it was a little cooler.
