The piranha exhibit is located in the River Scout Gallery at the Georgia Aquarium. The first picture shows a Red Piranha from the Amazon River and the second picture shows my grandson sitting inside the acrylic window next to the piranha tank. I had a hard time getting him out of there, he was having so much fun!

The photos are really great. But this little fish is a bit scary :-)
I bet ya'll learned so much, the fun way!
When we were on the Amazon several years ago, our mantra was "Keep your arms inside the boat."
I went out fishing for piranha one morning. A couple of others in our boat caught a piranha, not far from where children were swimming. I have a photo of me holding my catch, with a big machete in one hand and a 3-inch catfish in the other.
Beautiful photo! It is not easy to take a photo through a glass.
I like the second photo, with deformed reflection of the child.
Had no idea they looked so cute :D
Aquarium photos are so tricky! These are great!
i love jellyfish and pirhana are always fun to look at and scare yourself
Another wonderful picture of your grandson! How I would love to go exploring with you!
PS - I'm so glad that piranha isn't a part of the hands-on display!
Love the first photo !
Beautiful carnivore fish.
The 2nd pic is unique.
These things scare me more than gators. Gators only eat once a month!
That's a great shot of your Grandson, you can see he is having a grand time!

Lois, what a great picture of that piranha! It's really hard to get good pictures of fish in aquariums. And I loooooove the image of your grandson. Fabulous!
These are fantastic shots, Lois!
You know I had piranha for lunch when I was visiting the peruvian Amazon. I don't recomend it! LOL!
