Lovely shot - it's good to be able to see a critter so clearly :-)
I love this shot!And what a cute little guy!B
What a sweet little bird, and I really like this shot. Isn't it amazing that not too long ago the trees still looked like this? Kathy
He almost looks like part of the tree trunk, same color.
It is easier to spot and photograph birds when the leaves are not on the trees. In our area of Costa Rica, we have a cry season from Nov. - April when the trees drop their leaves to conserve water. In addition to seeing more birds, it is easier to spot the monkeys and sloths during that season.
Cute! Looks like a swallow!
What bird is this Lois? I love the curved up beak, makes it look Franch...;)CiaoE xx
Very nice shot, Lois!
Cute how it's perched so primly on the branch :D
I think it is a yellow rumped warbler Eleonora.
You have an eye for spotting birds, Lois. The warblers around here are so quick their not easy to capture but you captured this little cutie perfectly.
I agree that it is much easier to see the birds when the trees are bare ... but most birds here show up after the leaves are out!
