Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
That's interesting. I wonder where he patrols with an ATV.
I don't know why heavy-set policemen don't have their uniforms tailored. This one looks like it is being stretched to the limit. What was the name of that comic cartoon character who had a bird following him around with its mouth open catching the buttons that popped off? I can't remember the last time I saw a skinny policeman riding on anything, it has been so long.
His bicycle prolly said ouch get off, so they had to give him something with more wheels.
Funny idea, for the first glance,I thought about a kid and his toy! :)Léia
That is strange! Maybe they do some off-roading patrolling. ;)
Ha! I have never seen a po' on one of these either. A motorcycle is much more glamorous.
I suppose it saves on gas a bit. But he should be riding a bicycle. MB
hee hee!He looks like he's been corn-fed![M. Scélérat, éditeur à «Louis»: HE looks corn-fed?! Look who is talking!«Louis» à M. Scélérat, éditeur: Aw, shuddup! ]
And he looks sort of silly.
I'm sure it get's him in some rather challenging places though.
This is used in case he has to chase a coed over the sand dunes! Or maybe it's the only thing that fits him! ;-)
A fun photo - I like the police uniform, looks very comfortable.Cheers.Melbourne Daily Photo
Only youngsters use these here and they are quite rare. A fitting choice for law enforcement!
I'm more used to campus cops who travel around in real vehicles (open campus) or golf buggies/motorbikes/bicycles (closed campus). But looking at the impressive girth of this fella, the ATV may be the best option to carry him around ;-) Have a blessed weekend!
I know he's doing his job, but I have to say that it really looks like fun riding that ATV ;D
