Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
The pink flowers look like oxalis and the five leaved vine is Virginia Creeper...
Cute and delicate, I love this kind of flowers!HugsLéia
The flowers are pretty, but check out the HUGE clovers, assuming that's what they really are, I think I see a 4 leaf one, too!
Beautiful little forest!
Darla is right- oxalis and Virginia Creeper. I love the oxalis (and the flowers may be eaten in salads- my children call them "sour flowers") but if I don't pull them religiously, they would take over my entire yard!
In one of his newspaper columns, my husband immortalized something I told (okay, scolded) him many Christmases ago: weeds have flowers too. Your photo reminded me of that. I prefer thinking of them as wildflowers. :) And yes, I think they're very pretty too.
We have these in my neighborhood too. They are pretty!
Oh yes, Hilda is right, some of the best bloomers are not worn by the ladies but by weeds.
Amen to what, Abe, er, A-choo! said! I love wildflowers, er, weeds!
It's good to find every time someone who can identify the flowers for ignorants like me!
Lois, I think they are Mother Natures gift to you for Mothers Day. Its flower is beautiful :)
Florida is blessed with a plethora of wildflowers, all of which are quite beautiful. It's especially nice when you find them in town!
Such pretty colours - I like the way the light falls on them too. Weeds or not, most plants have some kind of value.
Weed or flower, they made a nice photo!
I agree with you, they are pretty, whatever they are.
I like weeds too, all flowers, weeds or planted flowers, they are very pretty.Do you have Forget me nots?I workers that day, were church volunteers who went to work in a local school. The first day, was cloudy and a big of rain. The second day was really good.
