Animal Service
The sign outside of the Tallahassee-Leon Community Animal Service Center. I adopted my cat from this place seven years ago. To read more about them, you can visit their website here.
good for you for adopting from the center. your post is a good reminder that we all should adopt from animal centers. I hope all is well. We have been too busy with work lately.
I hope they're not closed for good! It makes me happy to hear that people are adopting shelter kitties and dogs. They deserve loving homes as much as anyone else.
I love places that care for animals. We get drop-offs every year - so far this year? 3 cats. They get left at the abandoned church property, then show up here and beat up our cats to get to the food. The cats we do have are all strays that were left over the years. I bring in a group every year to the Humane Society. Why can't people do the right thing themselves?
These are wonderful places. There are just too many unwanted pets and the animal shelters do the best they can for those poor animals. Kudos to you for adopting from this facility!

It sounds like a great place.

It's good to have such a great place at hand!
«Louis» was afraid you were going to send him to the shelter. He was relieved to read that it was closed that day...

We adopted a rescue dog last week. She is 8 years old and just had a litter of puppies 9 weeks ago. She is shy but seems very happy :)
Here's hoping every animal inside finds a happy home.
What would we do without places like these? We adopted our cat from a place like this. We are so happy. The kitty is doing VERY well.
Sounds like a wonderful place. I'm still looking foward to seeing your cat!
If I ever have the chance to get a pet, I'd want to find one at the animal center, too! You're cat is surely happy to be with you :D
Hurray for places like this! Your 2 fuzz balls came from a shelter up by Mammoth Mtn., about 5 hours away from here, and they are the sweetest pair.
You did very well! We adopted several cats, some found in bins, one on a beach.
