Weekend Reflections

Posted by Picasa

These two guys were standing on a street corner in downtown Tallahassee. That is the US Bankruptcy Courthouse reflected in the window behind them. To see more beautiful reflections from around the world, you can visit James at Weekend Reflections.
Happy Birthday today to my beautiful daughter!

We have two similar guys on the Town Hall corner in central Sydney. I don't mind what they say, but I do mind that they use a megaphone.

Gosh, I haven't seen guys like these in ages. I hope I don't see any anytime soon. ;)

Great post, I also agree with Kcalpesh, there is a lot going on in your photo.

Street corner preachers with a megaphone is going a little far. I told one of our street corner guys years ago that it looked to me like he was wasting his time. He referred me to a scripture (I forget which) that said that preaching the Word was never in vain. He said that is what keeps street corner preachers going.

Ha! I remember when I was in nursing school at FSU and a preacher would come and announce his wares of salvation in the union and my friends and I would line up on the wall in front of him and he called us the whores of Babylon and we said, "How did you know?" and then we'd giggle and go off to class to learn how to put Foley catheters in place.

Beautiful reflections, Lois! When I first saw the picture, I thought the guy on the right was holding a sign that said "Chris Died". When I looked closer, I realized that the "T" was covered up by his arm.

Has that guy got a megaphone? I prefer the quieter approach to witnessing!

Interesting combination. The reflection is beautiful and so is the capture of the two men in action.
Happy birthday to your daughter!

I like the reflection better than the protesters!

I love the reflection but don't have much to say about the street terrorizing. MB
