SkyWatch Friday

A close up view of a pine tree blooming. All that yellow pine pollen is making me sneeze and in the second picture you can see what it is doing to my car! At least we have had some beautiful skies lately and if you want to see more of them, please visit SkyWatch Friday.

Ah, the cost of beauty! I started sneezing just looking at all that pollen! What great shots, Lois! It is beautiful if you don't have to stand too close! Hope you have a great, pollen-free weekend!

We are having pine tree pollen issues as well. My car is coated!

That top picture is absolutely gorgeous, Lois. The yellow seems to glow!

It is an allergy time of year isn't it? but oh so pretty. Today on the way home I noticed it was raining flower petals!
I like your pine blooming close up.

That is a neat shot Lois, I don't think I've ever seen a pine tree pollinating before. Here it's the oak that's killing me, the pollen count is through the roof right now. And my patio looks like it's covered with really bad shag carpet :) Kathy

We're also inundated with that yellow stuff...but at least now we don't to worry about cleaning it out of the pool!

Lovely water shot, Lois!

I saw something on a car the other day and didnt know what it was, it was only on the top. I guess I know now. Glad it doesn't bother me.

This is a beautiful shot of the blooming pine tree, Lois!
Last year they had to cut down many big trees on the street where I live because of that. The ground was covered in white and it seemed to be snowing for days! It was crazy, you almost couldn't breath...

Great shots especially of the pine cones. I feel for people who suffer from the pollen, it's not nice.

The close up looks great, it almost makes the pollen tolerable if it means we can have shots like these :)

Thanks for your comment re: the Eagan post. I think some of us have to speak up so that people see these goofballs are just a small minority in our country!

Have a great day!

The pollen is bad around here also. Not pine but everything else.

I am thankful I am not allergic to any pollen but my DH is. Great shot you've got here. Happy weekend!

We've got the pollen around here too. I parked my car at the airport while I was in Seattle last weekend and came back to find it hidden under a heavy dusting of the junk!

Nice skywatch photo. Hope you are not too allergic.

I hear a lot of at-choo and God bless you around here, Lois. Everything in Florida is in full bloom.

Your first photo is beautiful! But then I'm allergic to cedar pollen so spring for me is puffy itchy eyes and a constant runny nose. Hope your doing better!

The amount of visible pollen you get is amazing to me. Please take care, Lois. Allergies aren't funny or fun.
