SkyWatch Friday
While I was downtown last weekend for the Springtime Tallahassee Parade, I took this picture of a jet flying over the Florida Capitol complex. The historic old Capitol building is the one in front with the red and white window awnings. The tall building behind it is the newer, more modern Capitol. To see more beautiful skies from around the world, please visit SkyWatch Friday.

I love the old building with the awnings. The newer buildings don't have the character as the older ones. Beautiful blue sky. All we have are rain and gray skies. MB
Love those vivid blue skies! And I love the old buildings, too! The colorful awnings are the perfect touch!! Hope you have a very Happy Easter weekend, Lois!

Beautiful blue skies
Great composition, Lois! The plane is just the cherry on top of the cake.
Awesome sky, the awnings of the building are so unusual and charming.
A delightful composition...those wonderful lines on the building, the bright blue sky, and the plane winging it's way to a new horizon!
Have a wonderful Easter weekend!
I love this picture, it has a kind of patriotic feel to it with the red and white awnings and the lovely blue sky.
Sunny :)
Very nice composition, Lois. What a clear blue sky - nice contrast to the buildings.
I can't believe I missed your post for SkyWatch...very nice....I see you used a close up shot of those awnings for your reflection post....again very nice!
Happy Easter to you!
