The Tallahassee Leon County Civic Center is located near downtown between the campuses of Florida State University and Florida A&M University. Many events are held here, including high school and university graduations, concerts, FSU basketball games, and Broadway plays.

Who is the beauty and who is the beast? FSU or F A&M?

This County Civic Center looks modern and I liked a lot the garden.
I would love to attend for some concert there!

Hopefully, all won't be on the same day. That would be a mess.

Civic centers are wonderful places for the towns people to enjoy all sorts of great events.
Ours is right on the beach. Its old and very small but we towns people love that way.

It's good to have a center like this. Are you going to see Beauty and the Beast? I bet it will be popular.

It looks like a very nice building. And it's a great photo, Lois. I would imagine you are very familiar with the interior, too!

And I thought "Beauty and the Beast" was referring to FSU athletics!

Who is Donald L Tucker?

Neat perspective. The lavender color of the lettering is great. I only know the Disney version of B&TB...which I watched over, and over, and over. I hate to admit it but I kind of miss those days.

I can see the Lion-man & Catherine inside that hall. ;)

Kaori-Donald L. Tucker served as a City Attorney, County Attorney, County Prosecutor, School Board Attorney and was elected to the Florida Legislature. He also served as Special Ambassador from the United States to the Dominican Republic.
