Watery Wednesday

Posted by Picasa

Lake Jackson near Tallahassee on a very cold, windy winter day. I took this picture last week when it was still cold here. Today we might see 70 degrees! To see more beautiful watery pictures, please visit Watery Wednesday.

Looks bare. Even the ducks left. Must be colder there than normal.

I hope your get to see Sunrise Earth today. There will be some Argentina Seal pups and Elephant Seal pups on the show.

Lois, isn't it nice to see some water in Lake Jackson? Nice photo.

It looks so wide because of your angle — a lovely shot, Lois!

I must go get my jacket ... just looking at your photo makes me CHILLY. I can almost feel the stiff wind in my face, the cold water lapping at my feet ...

The temps were up this weekend in Boca. We had a great time there, although our golf on Sunday got rained out. I'm glad things have warmed up though!

No birds out there?. Cool water ripples.

Hey Lois - I hope the ambulance did not scare your daughter's family. It was a first responder and an ambulance...I don't care to do it again even if they were awesome!!

Beautiful and looks quiet! I think the last time we hit 70 degrees was in September.

I envy you the weather and the 70 degrees. This lake is beautiful and the water looks so blue: a great place!

This is Wednesday - and it is watery!
Both in your photo and out here on the Left Coast. Heavy rains. The streets are flooded and the freeways are a mess!
Enjoy your 70º day! ;-)

Very well composed, Lois! You've created a scene of vast expanse. Why do I think this lake may offer good bass fishing?

It looks blustery and I adore the blue of the water and the wide expanse of the lake. Marvellous photo.

I recognize that cold, biting weather. I think it was here, too. But it's 64 this morning and we seemed to have all survived the Arctic tundra that rolled over us. Now, the plants are another story. Sad!

I can tell it's windy, but the effect on the water surface looks great in this pic.
