Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
It would take me a while too!
He's a brave lad. I still shy away.
Brave indeed. Those birds have big sharp beaks and talons. This is a very nice picture of your cute and brave grandson. :-)
That's so cute!
sweet picture. He is so brave. MB
Awww! I'm glad he risked it - that's something that will stay w/ him
Good for him! And it's smart to be cautious...Re: The dollar stores - you are absolutely right on! Mostly junk!
It looks like the bird is looking him right in the eye! I think that would make me nervous.
oh - they're breath-taking!
how cute!He just touched the beautiful bird.I bet the bird loved it!So cool!Léia
Great series of posts on the birds. Coincidentally, my brother was just talking about getting a bird for our mother to replace her shih tzu who died about a year ago. A bird won't get underfoot and might even answer her when she talks to it.
Cute little brave boy... :)
But it looks as though the bird is about to retaliate! (I hope it didn't of course). Your grandson has got great blond hair - some Scandinavian blood in the family perhaps?
He picked the right bird to pet....goes well with his shirt!
The Macaw seems to like it too, he is looking at him as if to say thanks...
