Great series of posts on the birds. Coincidentally, my brother was just talking about getting a bird for our mother to replace her shih tzu who died about a year ago. A bird won't get underfoot and might even answer her when she talks to it.
But it looks as though the bird is about to retaliate! (I hope it didn't of course). Your grandson has got great blond hair - some Scandinavian blood in the family perhaps?

He picked the right bird to pet....goes well with his shirt!
The Macaw seems to like it too, he is looking at him as if to say thanks...
