Multi-tasking

This was a busy little Cockatoo. First he rode his own little bicycle.

Then he was roller skating and playing basketball at the same time! This charming little bird was one of the performers in a bird show at the Exotic Bird Fair held in Tallahassee last week.

Hahaha can birds really be trained to ride bikes? I am enjoying your bird series Lois. Your subjects are funny.

Cockatoos are talented little blighters. However, they can be very destructive too, as parks and gardens can attest.

Is this for real Lois? I wonder if they enjoy it..?

Is this your bird, Lois? He is multi-talented.

I wish he was my bird Abe! He was one of the trained birds that put on a little show at the Exotic Bird Fair held last week here in Tallahassee and sponsored by the Big Bend Bird Club.

I'm sure I've seen him on TV at some point. Hope he gets to share in some of the profit as well as the glory.

I hope he received more than just a cracker for all his tricks!

This reminds me of the famous water skiing squirrel. He probably has his own manager and everything.

Very entertaining little bird. Your grandson must have had a fun time watching him preform.

I've seen this kind of thing before and it never fails to amaze me...how does one train a Cockatoo? Incredible.

awesome and cool! great photos of the activities this would make a good you tube video. I am glad you liked the bobcats. I did not know you had them in such large numbers where you live. We do not see them very often. I posted a mare and colt on my site today to start a series on my website from my photography tour. It was quite an interesting trip to the slot canyon and Vermillion Cliffs. Also, if you like travel photos, we have posted action photos from Buenos Aires, Argentina on our travel photo site, www.vivalavoyage.com. Happy Monday!

He's so talented and seems more entertaining than prime time TV.

How sweeeeeet! Our Cockatoos here are very noisy! Sometimes they can be around everywhere. And very hard to take pictures with as they are elusive! How delightful Lois! :)

It's strange seeing the cockies performing like this when we're so used to seeing them here, flying free in the wild and around the city.
