Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
The water looks a long way down, Lois. Are you in drought conditions at all?
A very discreet edge to the lake. Makes it look more civilized that a mere mud bank but it sure makes it harder for an alligator to take a snooze.Really a nice photograph for the time of day it was taken.
this is beautiful
Very nice shot, well composed. I like the line of the retaining wall.
It's so nice there, even with the duck poo!
This Lake Ella is stunning!Beautiful picture and adorable lights.Léia
Looks very lonely.
This lake looks lovely and well-manicured. Very nice!
No drought conditions Julie. This particular area is part of a little man made peninsula that juts out into the lake and has a gazebo at the end. They built it up pretty high because this lake tends to flood when we have an event like we had last summer when a tropical storm dumped 12 inches of rain on us in one day!
The place looks lovely, Lois!
Oh boy, I like this at lot, Lois. Evening shots are so much fun and you too a great photo here; the reflection of the streetlight is eyecatching.
i love the colours you got with this photo, congratulations!

Such a nice time to take a picture. It looks great Lois.
Very pretty at night - it's nice & tidy! Happy WW
I think we all like this shot a lot. It's the curvey wall and fast setting sunlight. Very nice Lois.
A beautiful ethereal shot, Lois. I like the way you framed it.
Oh, Lake Ella! I fall deeper in love with this lake each time you post it!
I believe I see a bench on the right. Looks like a nice peaceful place to sit and read. Very nice Lois.
I like the wall form.
