Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
This must be "storm week." What I love about that is that they all have their own personalities. This is a spectacular one!
Looks like the storm is brewing.Sydney - City and Suburbs
Wow it looks so dramatic. Just like the sky here today.
Definitely ominous looking clouds moving in.
You caught those clouds on a really good roll!
It looks pretty mean Lois. From what you, Frank & Jacob have written they can come in quick and go out quick. Nice shot.
Just one of those things I don't miss not being in So Fla this summer.
Great shot...I love these dark dramatic skies...
Dramatic sky. Happy Friday!
Wow, it did get dark! I know a guy in Florida whose house was struck by lightening this week and messed up a bunch of his electronic stuff. No fire was started though, fortunately.
Looks a bit eerie! Did you get a lot of rain. We had a really bad thunderstorm the day before yesterday with some rain but it cleared out in a couple of hours.Re: that dog and puppy thing on our deck...we found those at Walmart. They had different ones for different breeds of dogs. I don't know if they still sell them, though.Have a great day, Lois!
Hi Lois !! Beautiful shot !! Loved this..Great..http://my-days-and-night.blogspot.com/2009/08/award-time.html
Wow!!! You caught a very impressive storm cloud there! I can almost feel the rumbles.
It certainly does look like an angry storm...
Preparing our umbrella!Fabulous shot!Léia
You wasn't lying when you said you posted a scary one, too! WoW!
Your storm clouds look more menacing than mine! ;) I love how the white puffy clouds are peeking farther away.
Wow, these clouds are wonderful. I'm envious. (grin) Fabulous picture--it fills my eyes with it's grim power.
