Watery Wednesday

There were so many geese out for a morning swim on this lake I decided to take their picture! Click on the picture to enlarge it if you want to see them better. Please visit Watery Wednesday for more beautiful watery pictures!

This exactly looks like a lake in the Western Ghats of India, where I live.

Nice shot. Cool reflections in a hot place and humid.

That is a serious contingent of geese. I didn't get the effect till I enlarged the photo.

Now this is a gaggle of geese! Amazing!

And what a lovely scene, Lois! I love those huge trees all covered in moss!

One really has to embiggen this shot to get the full impact. It is, well, just bucolic! So serene.

I was reading (Time magazine?) about how the US is being overrun by Canadian geese and how they are so dangerous to our planes and how their droppings are become a health hazard in many areas...

...so they are being killed in certain places and that makes other people angry...

I don't have an answer, but your photo reminded me of the article...

Very lush and love the greens here..even the water looks green from the reflections. And the geese are just lovely and I find them amazing how they just line up. :)

I enlarged the photo and started to count the geese but there were so many that I soon gave up. There is definitely a slew of them, Lois. Nice shot!

Very nice and peaceful shot Lois. Is that a park across the water?

Looks like quite a game of follow the leader!

Lois said...

Yes it is a park and the park actually surrounds the lake.

Lovely spot. After enlarging the photo I see you could have also called this shot "Ducky Wednesday."
