Photos from Florida's Capital City (and occasionally a few from other interesting places I have been fortunate enough to visit in my travels!)
That's good to know! We donate a lot to this fine organization, but I didn't know they took vehicles.
I donated one to the Boys Ranch. They work on them and then learn how to drive.
Ha! can you donate yours to me Lois? LOL. just kidding...
I think it's a wonderful alternative for people that don't really know what to do with their old heap.
What a great idea.. Now I wish I had a spare car to donate. I guess I can wait until I get too old to drive. LOL
But then I'd have go to Goodwill to buy it back!
Is Goodwill some kind of charity store (thrift)? I guess it must be, but the website is down.We have quite a few of these place over here but I cannot ever recall seeing any of them wanting cars.
Great idea!!Hi Lois--I'm back!!!! Is that scary or what!! MB
We never have had a car that we could donate though we have kept them ten or more years in some instances but they are our only car. LOL
We have several thrifts here that accept cars, boats, motorcycles, even airplanes (at least that's what they advertise!). Beats having them rust away in a field somewhere! When I was a teenager I had an old junker with a bumper sticker that said "This is NOT an abandoned car". When we abandoned it, I scratched out the NOT. Tee hee.
I didn't know they took cars either!
