There is nothing better than fresh vegetables and fruit and Tomato Land has been a landmark in Tallahassee for years.

Great name for a business. I once shared a house with a French girl and she would eat a salad consisting of... tomatoes. Now I like them as much as most people, but I would want something else also.

It's obvious by the time-worn sign that this delightful place has been there for ages. I bet they sell great produce!
You're right about "nothing better than"...
Sometimes, though, I've found these places don't live up to their sign's proclamations.
We finally found a fairly decent place but it's a long ways away...on Highway 441, north of Ocala.
I've never found a place that could match the tomatoes and corn we'd get at road stands in Minnesota in the summertime.
We have similar places, some called, "Farmer's Market," here where different things are on sale depending upon what has been recently harvested. Some of the best food is available
