I took this picture early one morning just as the sun was hitting this daylily next to my front door. I love everything about daylilies except for the fact that the blooms only last one day.

Very nicely done, Lois. Love the lighting. Now you've got the picture to remember when the lily fades away...
They are nice. Mine all last a week or longer but there are stands of them. So there is one or 7 all in bloom at the same time. The most famous that is nearly the same color as this one is the wild Ditch Lily that grows up here in side ditches. I have them on three sides of my property. Just plant one or two and they seem to grow on forever. Not as colorful as your pretty one but close.
